Let's order something delicious

Our History

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is a fast food restaurant chain that was founded by Colonel Harland Sanders in 1952. The restaurant specializes in fried chicken and is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, United States.

Colonel Sanders started selling fried chicken from a roadside restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky during the Great Depression. His unique blend of 11 herbs and spices quickly gained popularity, and he began to franchise his restaurant concept in the 1950s. The first KFC franchise opened in Utah in 1952, and the company rapidly expanded throughout the United States and eventually into other countries.

KFC became a subsidiary of PepsiCo in 1986 and was later spun off as its own company in 1997. Today, KFC operates in over 150 countries and is one of the largest fast food chains in the world. In addition to fried chicken, KFC also offers a variety of menu items, including sandwiches, sides, and desserts.

Despite some challenges and controversies over the years, KFC has maintained its popularity and continues to be a leader in the fast food industry. Its iconic logo and catchy slogan, "finger-licking good," have become synonymous with the brand and its delicious fried chicken.
